It’s been a while since I posted.
The world is as wild as ever, with Palestine on the brink of annihilation, right-wing across the world on the rise, and the planet on fire.
The US and the rest of the Western world are falling apart. With this falling empire, people are suffering and are destined to suffer in the long run. It’s urgent as we approach WWIII to organize.
This year has been a year of momentum. After failures of labor movements in the US (railworkers, Amazon workers, etc.) in the past few years, UAW has emerged to be a lasting labor influence in the US. Not only are they not giving into corporate and political elite pressures, they are also taking a strong stance against the genocide in Palestine. This intersection of anti-war and labor has the potential to be the most effective against the system, both domestically and internationally.
As this year closes and the next one approaches, I am cautiously optimistic about labor escalating class contradictions, forcing ruling elites to bend their knees to the masses. It is indeed the year of the Dragon. I hope labor rises to prominence, much like the powerful dragon, as the US implodes.
